About AcreSeal
Compliance technology for Texas utilities — built by people who understand the infrastructure and the regulation.
Our Mission
AcreSeal exists to close the gap between landowners who see infrastructure problems and the utilities responsible for fixing them. We believe every pole concern deserves a documented response, every resolution deserves a verifiable record, and every utility deserves tools that make compliance straightforward.
AcreSeal was built at the intersection of two industry shifts: Texas HB 144's mandate for forensic-grade utility compliance documentation, and the broader national movement toward data-driven grid transformation. As ISOs across the country — ERCOT, CAISO, MISO, NYISO — invest in innovation to manage an increasingly complex grid, the need for verifiable, tamper-evident operational documentation grows with it.
Our Team
Lance Hayes
Founder & CEO14-year US Air Force officer. Former hospital IT leader with deployments supporting critical infrastructure operations. Brings military-grade process discipline and healthcare data integrity standards to utility compliance. The same discipline that secured patient records at scale now protects utility infrastructure data under HB 144.
Our Industry Advisor
40-Year Veteran, Transmission & DistributionOur industry advisor brings four decades of hands-on experience in electric transmission and distribution across Texas. His career spans pole inspection, vegetation management, crew supervision, and grid operations. Every feature in AcreSeal is grounded in his operational expertise — ensuring we build for how the work actually gets done, not how software companies imagine it.
